The explanation of the subject was very clear… Even though it was on online course, it felt like a one-to-one learning experience in the class room. Absolutely loved it and have learned a great deal.

Priscilla Edwards

Since completing her degree in Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1997, Priscilla has exhibited widely across the UK, USA Sweden, and Germany and her work can be found in both private and public collections.

Priscilla’s background is rooted in embroidered textiles and this greatly influences the way she makes work. She has always used a mixed media approach to her practice and work with many different materials and techniques. Priscilla explores themes relating to personal memories and emotions also drawing inspiration from literature, film and her ever-evolving collections of found objects. She reassembles familiar materials fusing them together in strange and eclectic ways resolving during the making process the interplay that forms a new identity for each piece.
