Introduction to watercolour painting
Gain experience and confidence in using watercolour paint, and explore its possibilities through a series of practical workshops. You will learn a range of mark-making and brush techniques, how to apply a wash and masking-out techniques to create white space, and how to layer washes to mix colours. Using flora as your subject matter, you then learn how to apply these techniques to create a completed painting. By the end of the course you will be equipped with a range of techniques to create your own watercolour paintings with greater skill and confidence.
